‼️🚨❤️EMERGENCY HOUSING FUND Taneisha an ‼️🚨❤️EMERGENCY HOUSING FUND Taneisha and her babies, her sister and her child, their mother who lives with a disability, were all evicted by slumlords at Four Corners Apartments in Detroit. Six people in all, paying for temporary housing while they look to rent a new place. They are coming out of a terrible situation and need help.
Please contribute for emergency housing funds if you are able.

Landlord Michael Eisemann is back at it again with Landlord Michael Eisemann is back at it again with some more bullshit. Its been 2 years+ since tenants at Four Corners have been battling sewage backups, black mold, no heat, repeat flooding, broken appliances and more. But the most egregious abuse yet, the landlord’s “partner” violently attacked a tenant after he complained about a non functioning stove that in fact had a gas leak. This racist abuse of power has to stop! Please make the calls and flood the lines of Michael Eisemann’s heinous company “Detroit Metro Living LLC” and BSEED for an emergency inspection.

3. Treasure is collecting funds for Ken, please some support via cashapp $thicksexy88

Let them know tenants like Ken and Treasure are not to be messed with. Stop the evictions, to hell with the landlords and their abuse.
Detroit Eviction Defense had a discussion and cook Detroit Eviction Defense had a discussion and cookout at Barthwell Park off Davison at 14th on the fight for Reparations this past Saturday. Good discussion and good turnout and thanks to Marie Sims and all who worked on it. Here Ms. Marie shares her personal experience living in Black Bottom as a young girl and how she remembers the thriving neighborhood and the later racist displacement and demolition of it, effectively erasing generations of Black wealth, culture and any trace of it even existing. Where is the compensation? What can be done to make up for so much lost?

The fight for Reparations is a fight, and it has to come from below, from Black workers and the Black community with solidarity and support in the fight from the whole working class.
We’ve been meeting for almost a year and will be back at it again in September. Join with Detroit Eviction Defense and organize and fight for Reparations.
America was built on slavery.
Reparations now!

Treasure Jackson organized and fought back against unlivable conditions at the Four Corners apartment building - now she needs our support.

After being forced out by bad conditions and a retaliatory eviction, treasure needs $2800 to cover moving expenses, hotel costs, and car repairs after a bad accident. She works about 60 hours a week and takes care of her son and disabled dad.

Please give what you can and share with your network.

TODAY, call or email Volunteers of America and the Detroit HUD office to demand that there be no rent increases at the Oak Village Square senior apartments while tenants are battling unsafe conditions and evictions. A rent hike is NOT what our elder tenants need -- they need dignified homes and their rights to be respected.
